Halogen-free wires and cables are primarily characterized by zero halogen (chlorine, bromine, etc.) content in their insulation and sheath materials. They mainly adopt Low Smoke Zero Halogen polyolefin (LSZH/LSOH) as the base material, and achieve flame-retardant, temperature-resistant and other properties through formula optimization, making them widely applicable to scenarios with stringent safety and environmental protection requirements.

Core Characteristics

1. Halogen-Free & Eco-Friendly, Low Toxicity When Combusted

No corrosive halogenated gases such as HCl or HBr are released during combustion, only trace amounts of non-toxic smoke are produced. This prevents personnel from suffocating due to inhalation of toxic gases, and avoids corrosion damage to precision equipment and metal components caused by acidic gases.

2. Low Smoke & Flame-Retardant, High Visibility
Smoke density is much lower than that of traditional PVC cables, with high light transmittance during combustion. It gains valuable time for personnel evacuation and rescue in case of fire. The flame retardant rating can meet standards such as IEC 60332-1-2 (single vertical burning) and IEC 60332-3 (bundled burning).

3. Excellent Temperature & Weather Resistance, Superior Mechanical Properties
The long-term operating temperature is typically -40℃~90℃, and some modified models can reach 125℃. It has good UV resistance, aging resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and its wear resistance and tensile strength are better than ordinary PVC cables.

4. Stable Electrical Performance
It features high insulation resistance, low dielectric loss and excellent corona resistance, suitable for high and low voltage power transmission and distribution systems, with rated voltage covering 0.6/1kV~35kV and above.
